By Simon Adewale
Ndokwa National Youths, a youth pressure group in Delta State, has described as saving grace for the Nigeria nation, the recent Senate and House of  Representatives resolutions empowering Dr Goodluck Jonathan  to function as the Acting President of Nigeria.

A statement by the President, Comrade Friday Osanebi, who was recently inaugurated as the Vice president of South-South youth leaders forum in Port-Harcourt, said the move has saved the nation from anarchy. The youths leader explained that the long absence of President Umaru Yar’ Adua from the country created administrative lapses, which the National Assembly acted fast to salvage.

He urged Nigerians irrespective of political party of affiliation, to support Ag President Jonathan to enable him pilot the affairs of the country, pending the return of the President Yar’Adua, and expressed confidence that Dr Jonathan with his humility and experience, has all the qualities to move the nation forward.

Noted that unless the actors of the present democracy give the youths their rightful places and recognition, the nation’s future will remain bleak, and called on the youths to continue partner with government at all levels to sustain the present democracy.
