Ijaw students adopt Uduaghan for 2nd term

UGHELLI—DELTA Ijaw Students in tertiary institution across the country have adopted the State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, for a second term in office.

President of the National Union of Izon–Ebe Students, College of Education , Warri Chapter, stated this in Warri, when the students visited the chairman of the Ogbe-Ijoh, Isaba and Diebiri clan Community Development Committee, CDC, Chief Boro Pudu.

Presenting the students position, Comrade Pullah Frank Abeki, President of the College of Education Chapter of the National Union of Izon_Ebe students, said Dr. Uduaghan has performed excellently in the implementation of the 3 point agenda of his administration.

He pointed out that the prevailing peace in all parts of the State, the massive infrastructural development going on and the government’s assistance to students through various educational programmes were enough for the governor to have a second term in office.

Responding, Chief Boro Pudu, Chairman, Ogbe_Ijoh Isaba and Diebiri Community, CDC, said the student’s position was well informed.

Pudu said all Ijaw leaders have accepted the fact that there is no better candidate for the 2011 elections than Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, who has given Ijaws in Delta State a sense of fulfillment in all aspects of governance.
