Abuja—Ahead of     tomorrow’s Anambra governorship election, the Patriotic Alliance of Nigeria, PAN, has called on stakeholders in the state to be vigilant and ensure a free and fair election.

PAN comprises six political parties, Action Alliance, AA and Action Party of Nigeria, APN.

Others are, Citizens Popular Party, CPP, Masses Movement of Nigeria, MMN, Movement for Democracy and Justice, MDJ, and Nigeria Peoples Party, NPC.

The group made the call yesterday in a statement in Abuja.

It also called on the people to reject every temptation to “trade their sovereign authority’’ through the ballot box for a mess of pottage.
