LAGOSâ€”THE Igbo Community in Lagos State has commended Imo State Governor, Ikeddi Ohakim, for re-appointing Eze C.I Ilomuanya as Chairman, Imo State Council of Traditional rulers.
It also urged the South-East Governorsâ€™ Forum not to relent in their efforts to support the South-East council of traditional rulers because they were the fathers of the land. â€œThis support, will enable them, discharge their duties and bring sanity and dignity to the Igbo nation,â€ the community said.
Chief Christian Nwachukwu, the Onye-Ndu-Ndigbo, of Lagos State, who addressed newsmen in Lagos on the activities of the Igbo community, said â€œEze Ilomuanya is somebody that is committed and dedicated to bringingÂ sanity and dignity to the entire Ndigbo leaving outside Igbo land, whether in Lagos, Ibadan, Kano, Kaduna or Jos, having demonstrated this noble course through the banning of Eze Igbo titleÂ nationwide.â€
