Anambra deputy gov-elect pledges support for Obi

AWKA—ANAMBRA State Deputy Governor-elect, Chief Emeka Sibeudu has promised to give his boss, Peter Obi the maximum support needed to take the state to the next level of development.

Speaking exclusively with Vanguard, Sibeudu said that he had looked for an opportunity to serve the state, until Governor Obi gave him the chance to run with him in the February 6 governorship election at which they emerged victorious.

The Deputy Governor-elect,  who participated in the constitutional conference of 1990, said  it feels good to be elected a Deputy Governor and being given the opportunity to serve under Governor Obi.

“I have been looking for an opportunity to get into a position where I will contribute my own quota to serve this state and Governor Obi has given me that opportunity and am going to use it well to help him serve the state and take it to the next level of development.

“Already, the Governor has done well in all the sectors of the state. His development strategy cannot be faulted because it is developing all sectors simultaneously. I am happy to be part of Governor Obi’s administration.

The things I have seen so far are impressive. They are part of my dream for the state and I am happy the dream will come to reality. Together we will move the state to the highest level,” he said.

Sibeudu, said that his loyalty to the Governor will be total to enable him give the state the best administration they will live to remember.
