2011: Party leader urges support for Uduaghan

KOKO — POLITICAL leaders in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Delta State, have been urged to ensure the re-election of the state governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in the forthcoming 2011 elections.

Making the call in Koko town recently, the Chairman of Abigborodo Community Trust, Mr. Francis Eyituoyor-Maku stated that party loyalists and leaders should not allow personal or parochial interest to overshadow the overall objective and goal of the party.

The Trust chairman remarked that although individuals have constitutional rights to aspire to be governor, he said the forthcoming elections would not be politically expedient to pursue such ambition as Uduaghan should be given the chance to consolidate on his three-point agenda in his on-going developmental strides across the state.
