12 Anambra guber candidates adopt ADC’s Nwosu

By  Dotun Ibiwoye

Twelve governorship candidates in the Anambra election under the aegis of the Coalition of Credible Candidates, CCC, yesterday  adopted Chief Okey Nwosu of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, as their consensus candidate.

Some of the candidates are George Okoye of NMPP, Geof Onyejegbu of CPN, Dr. Ezekwueche of PMP.

The CCC was formed early this year by some gubernatorial candidates in the Anambra election  to checkmate money politics and ensure a peaceful poll.

They also want to work together to ensure that the Governor comes from the coalition  and checkmate wanton use of money to polarize the polity.

The coalition is open to only credible candidates, whose primary interest is the development of Anambra, and welfare of the citizenry.

A fortnight ago, nine out of the thirteen members of coalition signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly endorse one candidate from the coalition for the governorship race.
