Oshiomhole to sustain pace of roads construction in Edo

Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has promised to sustain the pace of road construction work going on in the state.

The governor who made the promise after inspecting the on-going road construction in Benin City expressed satisfaction at the pace and quality of work which has commenced in earnest.

According to him, there is so much to be done in the New Year.

“Now that we have paid the contractors, we expect that all of them will start work in the new year and we are going to expand the scope of work, not only in Benin City, but across the eighteen local government areas”, he noted.

The governor further disclosed that government would build more markets, to enable those displaced from other markets to be accommodated, while infrastructures would be provided to make the place conducive

He expressed the hope that when work is completed on the King square, it would be one of the best in the continent and he urged the people to keep faith with his government
