MiCCom Golf and Country Club, Ada in Osun State will go down in the history of the Professional Golfers Association of Nigeria (PGAN) as the venue of association’s new resolve to chart a new course for the association which marked its 40th anniversary last week in Ada.

The ceremony which was tied with a Pro-Am event, also served as Tour card tourney for the professional golfers. Over 140 professionals and invited amateur golfers including top names like Gen. Patrick Aziza (rtd), Gen C.K Emein (rtd), Osun State  Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola and many others trooped out for the event.

For 40 years PGAN has metamorphosed from a young association which had alot internal squabbles which led to faction emerging in the association to a matured body  with international representations at both Asian and European events.

PGAN today has the biggest tour in West Africa and the second biggest in Africa. With membership spanning 140, with members from neighbouring African countries.
