Indomie set to introduce new variants

DUFIL  Prima Foods Plc, makers of  Indomie noodles has said that it will be introducing new variants to the market this year, as it  expressed appreciation to it’s customers for their loyalty.

Girish Sharma, Brand Manager, DUFIL Foods, had in a statement said 2010 will see a significant enhancement in consumer experience from the company which will bring mass appeal and continued attention to the brand.
He said no doubt the uptick in consumer expectations is quite understandable, the company has devised plans to respond effectively and satisfy consumers at every touch points.

He noted that the company has a reputation for investing heavily in research and development and to better leverage its investment it will be coming up with new variants and flavours in the new year.

“Having been feeding and nurturing our consumers for almost two decades, to further enhance the intrinsic story of the brand in terms of its nutritional goodness, we will be embarking on several campaigns in the New Year”.

This he said is fundamental in maintaining the heritage of the brand and differentiating it in the minds of the consumers.

He stressed that the noodles manufacturer will continue to provide quality and nutritious meal to Nigerians at affordable prices and also continue to engage in activities that will bring mass appeal within the gastronomic segment.

Sharma went on to say that the company will continue to demonstrate its appreciation of the brand’s acceptance by consumers by supporting various activities that will have direct bearing on their lives. Indomie will double up its investments and focus on excellence in three areas; educational development, health development and community development, said Sharma.
In the areas of education, the company will be enhancing the activities of the Indomie Fan Club, its school based club through its partnership with FRSC and other organisations toward ensuring the mental and physical well being of the children. He added.
He also explained that the Indomie Hospital Project which features the donation of hospital equipments, refurbishing of children’s wards and token towards the treatment & surgery for children will be further enhanced.
Also to be augmented is the company’s community development efforts to include more states and rural communities across the country. Its water projects as well as other community development initiatives will be extended to more states of the federation. He concluded.
