Group faults Soludo’s opinion poll lead

By  Victor Otigbu

Awka—The Uche Ekwunife Gubernatorial Campaign Organisation in Anambra State, has strongly challenged what it called the politically motivated opinion poll by what it called a largely unknown and a faceless amalgam of town criers, Dozie Anambra Professionals, which put Soludo ahead of other candidates in the February 6,   governorship race in the state.

Media Adviser to the organisation, Mr. Collins Ugwu, in a statement said, that the contrived poll allocation, which lacked basic pretence to depth or reality was a crude rehearsal of poor politics, and a comic betrayal of grave hallucination.

“Our commitment to regenerate Anambra State politics personified in the unmatched zeal of  Uche Ekwunife foresaw this frenzy of desperation by contenders and competitors, but a typical descent to a bankrupt straw as this, is an act of political robbery.

“We note that the plotting of this scenario was rehearsed, the content generated, and the celebration in the media orchestrated for a lethal deceptive effect. We would have been relieved if such originality was deployed to the facts and specifics of how Anambra State, traumatized as it has been, could suddenly become the “Dubai of Africa,” but what we got was little devices from lazy minds,” the organisation added.
