Etsako re-run: AC candidate, Oghume, promises devt

BENIN—ACTION Congress (AC) candidate for the 23 January rerun election in Etsako Central constituency of Edo State House of Assembly, Mr. Johnson Eghuakhide Oghuma, has promised to ensure that his constituency enjoyed dividends of democracy from the government.
He made the promise while addressing the people of Wards one, two and three of Estako Central state constituency.
Oghuma told the electorates that “a vote for me as the AC flag bearer will guarantee for the youths of this constituency, gainful employment, good health care, schools and pipe borne water.”

“Besides working tirelessly to make sure that the benefits of popular participation of the people in governance is achieved, I will ensure probity, accountability and integrity as well as joining other lawmakers to legislate against election rigging as we have had enough of that. We are in the era of one man, one vote, with proper monitoring against ballot stuffing.

“I can assure you that by the time elections are concluded here on the 23rd, Nigerians will testify that it represents the freest elections in the annals of election in this area.
