By Dayo  Johnson ,

OVER 200 natives of Ondo State have been  evacuated from the crisis ridden Jos.

They are mainly Youth Corps members who arrived Akure, the state capital at noon yesterday. The rest  are students of the state origin  studying in various  institutions of higher learning in Plateau State.

They were conveyed in three coaster buses and a luxury bus and received by the state deputy governor, Alhaji Alli Olanusi.

Alhaji Olanusi told them on arrival that the decision to evacuate them was taken as government could not allow its natives anywhere in the state to suffer without rendering the necessary assistance.
