Uduaghan’s mega estate project lauded

By Charles Kumolu
MANAGING Director of Delta Mega Trend, Mr. Sam Ogrih, has commended Delta State governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, for initiating and citing the ongoing construc-tion of mega estate in Warri.

According to him, the project is a testimony that  Uduaghan’s administration is yielding fruit, particularly in infrastructural develop-ment through private partnership initiative.

He also argued that the choice of Warri was strategic, adding that being the business capital of the state, the city should not settle for less.

Ogrih noted that the three cardinal points of the governor would take the state to greater heights.
According to him, “ the three cardinal points of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration of Delta State is yielding fruits, particularly in infrastructural development through private partnership initiative.

“The three points of the administration are peace and security, human capital development and infrastructural development, which incidentally is the thrust of Delta Mega Trend Investment Company which is building a mega estate, the first of its kind in Warri, called The Plantation.”

He, however, disclosed that when completed, the estate would solve accommodation problems in  Warri, adding that the project was almost completed.

“The acute shortage of accommodation is another reason the estate is springing up. For Sam, there is no way the city can cope with the amount of commercial activities going on in the city without having a decent accommodation.

“That is why you see most of the expatriates of the oil companies prefer to take off from Lagos to Port Harcourt in the morning and return to Lagos in the evening.   This is because there is no serious well suited accommodation, apart from hotels in Warri, because Warri is the closest to Port Harcourt.

“As a matter of fact, the state governor was at the site three weeks ago to see things himself. He was highly impressed by the level of work there.

“ The estate is solidly sound in terms of finances or political backing. We are happy that the state government is happy with what we are doing. It is a motivation for us and encouragement for those who may also be aspiring to be like us.”
