AKURE—THE General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye yesterday began a Christian Outreach Programme in Ondo State. Pastor Adeboye would visit Ondo and Owo towns today and tomorrow.

The Provincial Pastor of RCCG, Ondo Province 1, Pastor Emmanuel Kalejaiye, told newsmen in Akure that Adeboye  came to the state for a Christian outreach, Let’s Go A-Fishing with the theme “Behold the King”.

According to him, the visit of the General Overseer would take him to Ondo Boys High School, Ondo and Imade College, Owo Sports field where he would minister to the people of the state. He said the purpose of the outreach was to tell the whole world what Christmas was all about.

Kalejaiye said the church would also use the programme to let the people know that when several names had failed, it was then that God sent Jesus his son to reconcile the world to himself.

He said the programme would be used to “to give the people of Ondo State the opportunity to pray. It is expected that the coming of the General Overseer will give God another great opportunity to hear from us as we pray as a people for Ondo State, Nigeria and as individuals.

“To identify with the needs and aspirations of the people of our great state as many times people don’t know how to access the supernatural. The General Overseer is expected to use his visit to connect the people as God’s representative”.
