SENATOR Joy Emodi representing Anambra North Senatorial district has called on the people of Anambra State, particularly her constituents to be vigilant when voting in the coming governorship election in the state in February, 2010.

According to Senator Emodi, 2010 will be a critical time for the people of Anambra State. To this end, she urged the people to be vigilant to ensure that their votes count. The senator charged them to “vote and protect your votes”, saying that that is the only way to ensure that democracy develops in Nigeria.

Emodi, in a Christmas and thank-you-for-your support message to members of her constituents urged them to “vote and protect your votes” during the election. She urged them to vote for somebody who will work with her to bring more development to the Anambra North senatorial zone.
