Wema Bank PLC has been appointed by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Examination Board (JAMB) to sell its newly introduced on-line Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application forms.
The UTME is the only examination to be conducted by JAMB once in a year for candidate seeking admission into Nigeria universities, polytechnics, monotechnics and Colleges of Education.
The UTME replaces the Universities Matriculation Examination (UME) and Polytechnic and College of Education Matriculation Examination (PCE).
A statement issued by the Corporate Communications Department stated that the Bank is among the few banks selected by JAMB to sell the new UTME form based on its track record in the sales as educational institution application forms and collection of government revenues.
The statement, signed by the acting Head of the Corporate Communications Department, Mr. Bisi Onanuga, stated that the UTME forms are available for sale to applicants at N4,600 at all branches of the Bank nationwide.
The statement assured applicants of a hitch free sale of the forms as the Bank has put in place adequate measures to ensure an efficient service delivery.
