The National Executive of Project Uduaghan International (PUI) will be inaugurated today, Novem-ber 24.
A statement by the chairman planning commit-tee, Mr. Steve Moeteke and Public Relations Officer, Mr Dotie Augustine, said the ceremony will take place at the squash court, Govern-ment House, Asaba.
Beside the inauguration of the executive committee, PUI is also putting together its inaugural lecture on, Peace and Development of the Niger Delta: The Way Forward.
The lecture is to be delivered by Prof Augustine Ikelebe of the University of Benin, Benin.
According to the statement, the association is a non-governmental organi-sation out to promote the agenda of Governor Emma-nuel Uduaghan as well as support his policies and programmes for the advance-ment of his philosophy.
It added that, “along side our admiration for the policies and programmes of the governor, we believe that the 3-point agenda anchored on the fear of God, are connected for development and, therefore, needs the support of all sundry.â€
