By Festus Ahon
UGHELLI—THE National Chairman of Urhobo Consultative Forum (UCF), Chief Tom Amioku, has restated the commitment of the forum to the political unity and well being of Urhobo people without undermining the political relevance of other ethnic groups in the state.

Amioku spoke separately at Udu and Ughelli South local government areas of Delta State while inaugurating the local government executives of the group last weekend.

He said the group was working in consultation with other ethnic groups in the state on major political issues before taking a position, reiterating that the forum recognized the political relevance of all the ethnic groups in the state.

Amioku reaffirmed the commitment of the forum to Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan’s administration, adding that the state government, under the leadership of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan and Prof. Amos Utuama, was doing a lot to improve the socio-economic well being of Deltans.
