Expressing happiness at the manner the council chairman was managing the resources of the council, he hailed his courage not to borrow from the bank at the time the council was experiencing some financial crisis.

According to him, Ughelli North local government council is one of the few councils that did not borrow from the bank at the time, and reiterated that the council workers were owed three months salaries at the time.

Ijolo thanked Ibru for paying the three months outstanding salaries and part of the claims due to the workers without negotiation.
