ABUJA—NIGERIA has expressed concern over alleged increasing violation of human rights in Western Sahara and is seeking for international pressure to end the abuses, especially the continued detention of workers.
While receiving the President of the Saharawi Collective of Human Rights Defenders, Ms. Aminatou Haidar, who paid him a courtesy call, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Prince Adetokunbo Kayode (SAN), called on the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), to partner with international human rights organisations worldwide to assist in putting an end to gross violation of human rights and continued detention of workers in the Western Sahara.
