Indomie Promo: 13 new millionaires emerge, rewarded

Dufil Prima Foods Plc, makers of Indomie instant noodles said thirteen new lucky winners in its ongoing “Indomie Instant Millionaire” promo. The thirteen new  millionaires were presented to the public at a separate ceremony held at various Indomie regional offices across the country.
Apart from the winners of N1million, other prizes such as microwave oven, carpets, DVD player, air conditioner, rice cooker where also won.

Speaking, Tope Ashiwaju, Manager, Public Relations, Dufil Prima Foods said at the Lagos presentation of cheques that the promo is a process designed by the company to reward consumers of the its product, and that the company is just doing that, as it is interested in making sure its consumers are made millionaires.

According to the promo, he said, “what scratch from a scratch card obtained from any Indomie cartoon bought is what the consumer stands to win.”
“We should have been giving out cash, but for security reasons, we are not giving out cash, but for this purpose we are giving cheque to our winners,” Ashiwaju reiterated at the presentation of cheques to the three winners.
In addition, Mr. Tola Bademosi, Managing Director,BD Consult, Public Relations agent to DUFIl said that the presentation is to prove to consumers that hat the company said before the commencement of the promo is it is doing.

“We have given out 24 million, aside other prizes, as I speak with you now, there are other people winnings in other States.”

Speaking in Port Harcourt, Mr. Yahaya Umaru, Sales Manager, Port Harcourt for Dufil Prima Foods  noted that the company is excited about the level of participation in the promo since it began on September 1 and explained that the emergence of these new set of winners further demonstrates that.
He expressed that the company will always fulfill its promises to its consumers no matter the cost and today’s presentation is a testimony to that commitment.

He commended the winners for taking part in the promo and assured all Indomie consumers that the company will continue to do whatever it can to delight them.
Chinedu Okoye from Onitsha a 42 years old retired civil servant and presently an Okada rider, said he was elated with the prize.
“I feel so happy and grateful to God who made it possible. I never knew that there are some honest companies who can stand by their word. Indomie is sincere and I pray that they keep it.”

In the same vein, Mrs. Grace John, a trader based in Abuja said “I thank indomie for this promo.  I feel the Indomie millionaire promo was initiated because of me and I thank them for fulfilling their promise.”
At the Lagos presentation, Mrs. Funmilayo Salawu, a clerical officer at the General Hospital, Offa; Ms Rashidat Yusuf, a final year student of Economics at the Olabisi Onabanjo University and Mrs. Funmilayo Osipitan, a  trader from Ikotun were among the lucky millionaires.

Also Mrs. Grace John, a trader in Abuja; Mr. Aliyu Isah, a 12year old student of Township Pry School, Jos; Mrs. Veronica E. Bisong, a school teacher in Abuja; Mr. Muhammad Shehu, a civil servant from Kaduna and Mrs. Halilat Kabiru Bello a trader from Kano all emerged winner of N1 millionaire at the Abuja presentation ceremony.

Winners from the Port Harcourt presentation includes 29 year old Ms. Uzopuo Obiageri Blessing, an ex corp member based in Port Harcourt; Mr. Chinedu Okoye, a retired security guard from Onitsha; Mr. Magnus Ndukwu, a shoe dealer in Onitsha; Mr. Onuoha Uchenna Anthony, a youth corp member serving at Okobo local government, Uyo and 29year old undergraduate of University of Calabar.
