Students of Caleb International College, Lagos, who sat for the May/June Secondary School Certificate Examinations organized by West African Examinations Council (WAEC) put up a superlative performance as they recorded close to 100% in all the core subjects especially English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as shown by the results recently released.

The founder and Managing Director of the College, Prince Ola Adebogun, expressed delight at the performance of the students, congratulating them, their parents and teachers who worked hard to make the school proud once again. “Caleb International College students have always blazed the trail at both national and international examinations and the school will continue to sustain this extra-ordinary performance in the future,” he said.

This year’s outstanding performance continues a tradition established since the first set of graduates were produced in 2000 by Caleb International College, Lagos, with branches in Lekki and Magodo.

According to the management of the college, the students achieved such excellent results “because of the strong emphasis the school places on high moral character with zero tolerance for all forms of examination malpractice coupled with a carefully selected crop of professional committed and experienced subject teachers.”

The management further assured parents that all efforts will be made to maintain the excellent performance of Caleb students in external examinations.

In this regard, the school has invested heavily in modern ICT-based learning facilities like interactive smart boards among many others.

In a press release, the newly established Caleb British Academy (CBA) another member of the Caleb International Group of Schools, was said to poised to be a trail blazer in the area of British and American Curriculum-based certification – International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Scholatistic Aptitude Test (SAT) and Test of English as Foreign Language (TOFEL).

Among students of the college who passed the SSCE with 8 distinctions in all subjects including English and Mathematics are Sado Anointing, Arikawe Omolara, and Okonkow Kizito Obinna. Those who recorded 7 distinctions are Odetola-Odeleye O.A., Duruakwu Ifeanyi, Adebogun Adeolu Joshua, Amu-Wright Olugbenga, Egbo Deborah Oluwafemi, Joachim victor, Agbede Oluwole, Abighe Efe Orevam, Ogbaudu Akpezi Francis, Oyewole Adeoluwa, Odemona Glory and Ademiluyi Aderinsola.
