One of the participating countries in next month’s FIFA U-17 World Cup holding in Nigeria, United Arab Emirates (UAE) have threatened to withdraw from the competition, citing poor facilities at the Kano centre.

The BBC fast-track reported on Friday that officials of the Arab country have said that unless FIFA does something about the facilities especially the training pitches, they would have no choice but pull out of the competition.

FIFA Vice President, Jack Warner had a few days earlier said Nigeria was not fully ready for the competition as some facilities were yet to be fixed as he advised the LOC for te U-17 World Cup led by Mainasara Illo to copy from Egypt, now hosting the U-20 World Cup, how to prepare for such events.
