Tunisians arrive on chartered flight, lodge at Sheraton

The Tunisia contingent for Sunday’s 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Super Eagles will land at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Abuja at 2pm on Friday aboard a chartered flight direct from Tunis.

Information garnered revealed that the team will lodge at the Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Abuja, as FIFA’s new regulation means that away teams book and pay for their own accommodation on international assignment.

The contingent, which will be led by Tunisia’s Secretary of State for Sports, Mr. Bechir Louzir, will be received on arrival by the Director General of the National Sports Commission, Chief Patrick Ekeji. Deputy General Secretary (Technical), Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme will lead the NFF delegation.
The pre –match meeting will hold on Saturday inside the Press Conference room of the National Stadium, Abuja starting from 11am.
