ABUJA-The Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has assured executive members of the Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Bank, (ACAMB) of the CBNâ€™s continued support towards the realization of the associationâ€™s goals and objectives.
The remarks was made by Mr. Tunde Lemo, Deputy Governor, Operations who stood in for the Governor, when ACAMB officials paid a courtesy visit to the Bankâ€™s headquarters yesterday in Abuja.
Mallam Sanusi assured ACAMB that the Bank will continue to work with the association to ensure that the reputational risk of the industry is managed appropriately in line with the CBNâ€™s determination to ensure the soundness and safety of the banking industry. He further expressed his appreciation to the body for working in tandem with the CBN in this regard.
Earlier, ACAMB President, Mr. Eddy Ademosu, while congratulating the Governor on his appointment, also thanked him for finding time to receive them.
Mr. Ademosu informed the Governor that as part of the capacity building programme on reputational risk management, the association is organising a conference from September 24 – 27th, 2009 in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
