Nigerians advised to imbibe Godly principles

By  Sam Eyoboka and Victor Ahiuma-Young

LAGOS – RENOWNED motivational speaker, Dr. Myles Munroe, yesterday shocked thousands of Christians at an international conference in Lagos, when he declared that there cannot be a change for the better in Nigeria, unless Nigerians disconnect from their ugly past.

Speaking at the KFA Event Centre, Lekki, on “The Kingdom Principles for Change” at the ongoing St. Joseph’s Chosen Church of God-sponsored international conference packaged to redirect the nation on the path of righteousness, the preacher advised Nigerians to discard old ways of doing things and adopt new Godly principles.

According to Munroe, who said the heart cry of every Nigerian he had met all over the world, is that God should create a new Nigeria devoid of corruption, nepotism, oppression, poverty, lack and all negativity.

Earlier, the SJCCG spiritual leader and the initiator of the conference, Apostle Hayford Alile, had enjoined Nigerians to make their individual contributions towards the growth of the nation.
