Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will not be lacking in support when they begin their campaign to win the FIFA World Youth Championship in Egypt this week.
Oche Peters, a former Udoji United coach who runs the Supreme International Sports Academy in Cairo, says their performance at the 5 Nation tournament earlier this year when they finished second behind hosts Egypt, had won them followers.
“When it comes to support, the Flying Eagles will not lack any because the team is now very popular in Egypt since their scintillating performances in the Five Nation tournament held here in Egypt that time,” Oche, who says he is coordinating Nigerian citizens in Egypt to support the team, told KickOffNigeria.com.
The Flying Eagles first training session attracted a huge crowd and Oche said it was a just a taste of things to come.
“With what I saw on Monday, the team has undergone total transformation and ready to go in the junior World Cup. I can also tell you that this team would get to at last the final of the competition.
