GOVERNOR Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta state today  reshuffled his cabinet by dropping 11 out of his 28-man cabinet.

Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Sonny Ogefere confirmed the shake up last night saying that ‘the cabinet is not dissolved but eleven of the commissioners were dropped’.

Asked to give details of the names and portfolios affected, he said ‘I have not been given’.

Inside sources hinted VANGUARD that the governor personally  told the Commissioners about the impending cabinet shake up during yesterday’s State Executive Council Meeting (Exco) held at Government House Asaba.

Surprisingly after the meeting, the routine press briefing where decisions of the Exco were not communicated to the
press did not hold while some of the commissioners wore  gloomy faces as they filed out.

The rumour about the cabinet reshuffle had been ongoing  until today  when the governor formally told
the commissioners to tidy up their table in readiness to handing over .
