PDP chieftain lauds Uduaghan

UGHELLI—FORMER Delta State governorship aspirant  under   the  platform of the (PDP), Mr. Sunny Onuesoke, has  commended Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State for the purchase of 100 buses to tackle the problem of intra-city movement in the state.

Onuesoke who fielded questions from newsmen at Agbarha-Otor, Ughelli North local government area of the state after driving in one of the buses, said the decision of the governor to acquire those buses was a testimony of his commitment to the well being of Deltans.

According to Onuesoke, the  buses would go a long way to address the transportation needs of the people of the state.

He charged the operators to make good use of the buses to achieve the purpose for which they were bought by the state government.

Onuesoke, who is a Special Project Director in charge of the Asaba/ Ughelli road dualization, told the people to make good use of the buses, reiterating that the buses were purchased for their sake. He said one of the ways they could appreciate the gesture of government was to patronize the buses.

He urged Deltans to continue in their support for the administration of Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan, adding that the present administration was determined to spread the dividends of democracy to all parts of the state.

He also told the youths to take advantage of the various training and empowerment programmes of the state government to develop themselves and shun acts capable of truncating peace in the state.
