Oshiomhole’s aide resigns

BENIN—SPECIAL Adviser to Governor Adams Oshiomhole on Public Affairs and Strategy, Mr. Eric Osagie, yesterday resigned his appointment, citing personal reasons and professional grounds as the grounds for his resignation.

Mr. Osagie, in his letter of resignation addressed to the Secretary to the Edo State Govt, Mr. Pally Iriase, and made available to newsmen, said he was leaving without ill- feelings and thanked the state governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, for giving him the opportunity to serve, more so as one of the first three persons to be appointed into his administration.

Mr. Osagie expressed gratitude to his professional colleagues for their co-operation, saying that even in areas where little friction occurred, “you were kind enough to listen to my point of view and my own side of the story. And invariably, government’s side.”
