Linkserve Limited has  emerged Nigeria’s Broadband Service Provider of the Year at the Nigerian Telecoms Awards held recently at the Oriental Hotel in Lagos.

The event was attended by many dignitaries, including Ex-President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah of Sierra Leone, the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, Ambassador Shehu Malami, Ex-Governor Olusegun Osoba and Chief Alex Akinyele amongst others.

The Ex-President of Sierra Leone, Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, was the Chairman of the occasion and he said in his speech that the Nigerian Telecom Awards has become a truly continental event that African leaders should not only be proud of but should also endeavour to identify with and to give their full support.

He said, ‘this event has become an undisputed milestone in the global telecom market and is Africa’s contribution to the annual telecom agenda.’ Linkserve Limited won the highly coveted Broadband Service Provider of the Year award. The Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Johnson, who received the award on behalf of the company, said that the company’s inception till date, Linkserve has been at the forefront of delivering top quality network solution to Nigerians and is one of the first to invest in the broadband technology. He said,

‘our role as Nigeria’s pioneering and leading internet service provider is one that we take very seriously and indeed proof of this are in the massive investments we have made in the industry in recent times.’
