Abeokuta — The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, yesterday asked  Nigerians not to panic over the socio-political problems  facing the nation, saying they would soon be over.

Addressing a congregation at a thanksgiving service which was attended by a representative of the Vice-President, Pastor Aginighan, the general overseer,  reassured Nigerians that God would very soon take care of all the nation’s socio-political problems.

“I greet the representative of the Vice-President and through him, the President himself and I pray that God will ensure that before the end of this year all the problems of Nigeria would end,” he prayed.

To mark end of the church’s 57th annual convention, Adeboye ordained 720 pastors, bringing the number of ministers ordained during the spiritual fiesta to 8,379.

Similarly, the number of children delivered during the one week convention rose from 64 on Friday to 90 by 6.00 a.m. yesterday. The number of boys, according to Adeboye, was 46 and that of the girls was  44.
