Kaduna has been chosen as the  venue of this year’s Annual General Meeting, AGM, of the Nigeria Cricket Federation, NCF.Secretary General of the Federation ,Dans Adokiye in an exclusive interview with Sunday Sports said that the new board would meet in order to meet up with the board’s agenda set for the face lift of the game.

“Before the new board came in, there was a programme on ground planned by the former board which we are following systematically as is it, fortunately the new board still has the former President who was the arrow head of the plan, I think the program me would be a continous one.
“With the injection of some people in the board ,they as well would introduce their ideas on how to move the board forward. It is a good thing that we have some people who play this game both national and international level “.
Adokiye also said that the five years development program me which would last for 2012 would be continued by the new board .The NCF would also be organizing the National Cricket league which the winner from each state in the country would play each other to know the major national champion.
The scribe also hinted that the Africa Cricket Association would also organize a seminar for states chairmen and secretaries in order to up grade your knowledge in morden cricket terminology.
“Africa Cricket federation, ACA will. organize a seminar for the states chairman and secretaries and In formations for National Cricket while the NCF also transfer such the information base on their own programme to the grassroots level. Also NCF will be distributing some cricket equipment which they bought for all states to ensure the development of the game.” Adokiye said
