ABUJA—TWELVE  tertiary institutions in Nigeria with over 300 students weekend emerged to vie for a chance and fly the Nation’s flag at the Students in Friendship Enterprise, SIFE World Cup slated to hold in Berlin, Germany from the 4th-6th October 2009.
The schools which emerged at the selection to get the final in Abuja were University of Uyo, University of Jos, Adekunle Ajasin University, Bayero University, Niger Delta University and University of Ado-Ekiti and they won the GTBank lead 1,2Â and 3 respectively.
Others who emerged under the First Bank lead 1, 2 and 3 respectively were the University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Obafemi Awolowo University; University of Abuja; University of Nigeria, Nsukka; Federal Polytechnic, Oko and Federal University of Technology, Owerri.
Students of these schools participated with well over one thousand university and polytechnic students from 34 institutions before they emerged victorious where they showcased community projects at the 2009 SIFE Nigeria first round business competition.
