Contemporary Group Limited, a distinguished name in the architectural industry, has earned yet another notable achievement by winning the 2007 West Africa’s Excellence Award in Property Development and Engineering Services.

The honour was among the major highlights of the African Direct Marketing Merit Award, organised by the Institute of Direct Marketing of Nigeria.

Presenting the award, the Chairman of the Awards Board commended Contemporary Group Limited for its unmatched contributions to property development and engineering solutions.

He noted that the organisation had distinguished itself through its commitment to international standards, creative design approaches, and the successful execution of complex projects across the region.

He explained that the selection process was thorough and required evaluating each organisation’s performance, project excellence, service standards, and contributions to
the community. According to him, Contemporary Group Limited fulfilled all the criteria for the category, making it an exceptional and deserving winner.

He observed that the firm’s strong history of delivering sustainable structures and infrastructure has positioned it as an example for others in the industry to follow. “Contemporary Group Limited has repeatedly shown a high level of excellence and professionalism. These qualities are vital for meaningful development in West Africa,” he stated.

The Chairman commended the company’s leadership and staff, describing them as a mix of experienced experts and emerging talents who continue to expand the limits of architectural and engineering innovation. He added that the organisation’s vision closely reflects the Institute’s mission of advancing best practices across the continent.

He further highlighted that the award aims to inspire more organisations to embrace innovation, transparency, and efficiency—values that Contemporary Group Limited has embodied over the years. The recognition, he added, is a call to sustained leadership and continued contribution to regional growth.
