In a bid to reposition the nation’s insurance sector, leading digital life insurance company, Enterprise Life, has announced its plans to digitise its operations. It disclosed the plans for the digital offerings at the recent Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) Professionals’ Forum held in Abuja at the weekend.
Speaking at the forum, the company’s Managing Director, Funmi Omo said the organisation is now determined more than ever before to reposition its operations via digitization in line with the world’s best practices. She reiterated Enterprise Life’s mission to improve accessibility to insurance through innovative digital tools that will deliver value to all stakeholders, including insurance brokers.
She further revealed the company’s strategic expansion to Abuja and Port Harcourt, underscoring Enterprise Life’s commitment to transforming Nigeria’s insurance landscape while enhancing its reach and service delivery. “We are excited about extending our services to these states. More people need to be aware of the numerous benefits that come with having an insurance policy that suits their lifestyle and needs” said Omo. “This expansion shows our dedication to providing accessible, reliable, and tailored life insurance solutions to Nigerians,” she added.
A major highlight of her speech was the introduction of the Brokers’ Portal, an innovative digital platform designed to streamline the operations of insurance brokers. The portal will enable brokers to onboard themselves, generate codes and proposals, and access records of their transactions and NAICOM UID. She said, “The Brokers’ Portal is a game-changer for the insurance industry, a tool that will transform how brokers interact with our services,” Omo stated. It illustrates our commitment to digitizing the insurance sector and making processes more efficient.”
While calling on brokers to leverage the opportunity offered by the portal, Omo urged brokers to support the initiative by helping to test the portal upon its readiness. “We need the invaluable support of our brokers to ensure the success of this portal. Your feedback and participation are crucial as we strive to perfect this platform,” she added.
Continuing, she said, “Enterprise Life has also launched its APIs for seamless integration, allowing anyone to connect with the company via the platform. “We are excited to roll out our API, which will facilitate effortless connectivity and integration for our partners. We believe this will significantly enhance the overall user experience.”
“With these advancements, Enterprise Life continues to position itself at the forefront of innovation in the insurance sector, enhancing service delivery, and fostering financial literacy and growth.”
