LOKOJA — ABOUT    30,000 Mega watts generation capacity of electricity would be required to attain Vision 20: 2020 programme of the Federal Government,  Minister of Power, Dr. Lanre Babalola,has said.
Babalola, in a keynote address yesterday at a Ministerial Retreat for the power sector ministries, departments and agencies in Lokoja, also noted that efforts by the Federal Government to attain 6,000 MegaWatts of electricity by December last year, suffered a setback largely due to lack of funds.
“One of the major challenges for us to put it in its proper perspective is the funds required to achieve the targets,†Babalola told the participants.
