As recently, the light skinned actress was spotted posing cozily with a mystery man who is allegedly based out of the country.

This is a tad surprising because Maryam had said severally that she was not involved in any relationship with anyone. Perhaps this new man is worth the trouble hence her desire to show him off.

Also, recall that Maryam earlier this year had insisted that in a few years, Nollywood will surpass Hollywood.

She said: “Nollywood can only get better at this point because everyone is stepping up their game. I’m a practitioner in this industry so I know what I am saying. No one wants to entertain mediocrity anymore and that is the only thing that can stop the industry from moving forward. And now that everyone is adopting a higher standard in their works, Nollywood will soon surpass Hollywood.”
