ABUJA – THE House of Representatives Wednesday reversed its earlier decision prohibiting the suspended former House Committee Chairman on Appropriation, Abdulmumin Jibrin from having access to the National Assembly Complex.
The reversal was contained in a resolution passed to him appear before the Committee on Ethics and Privileges to respond to the petition on the alleged ownership of foreign accounts in Barclays Bank, United Kingdom.
Recall that the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) had on Monday submitted a petition to the Speaker, Yakubu Dogara, House Committee on Public Petitions, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Code of Conduct Bureau as well as office of the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) to prosecute the lawmaker.
