Pray for Nigeria, Orji tells Muslims

UMUAHIA—IMMEDIATE past Governor of Abia State and Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Chief Theodore Orji, has urged Muslims to use the period of Eid-el Maulud to pray for the good of the nation.

In a message for Muslims, Orji urged them to use the period to also pray for Nigerian leaders.

In a statement issued, Sunday, by his Media Adviser, Don Norman Obinna, Orji also reminded them to emulate the exceptional personality of Prophet Mohammed, who was the reason for the celebration.

“Knowing what Eid-el Maulud represents, our Muslim brothers should use the occasion, therefore, to pray for innovative ideas that will enable us break new grounds that the world would notice and celebrate the same way it celebrates the birth of Prophet Mohammed,” Orji said.
