Ubah expressed satisfaction with the quality of the league under the League Management Company (LMC) and extended kind words to all the teams which played in the league. “I must not fail to appreciate our fans for believing in this club, they have shown so much commitment and passion and I stand to salute them all.

“The commitment of our fans was so intensified that some of them had to travel from across the country at their own expense to cheer us in Lagos. ” I congratulate MFM for surviving relegation through this match, the boys showed that determination can guarantee result.

“To me , it seems God didn’t want them to go down because our team had chances that could have killed off the match and sent them into relegation even as we join continental elite.

“I also wish to congratulate Rivers United and Wikki Tourist for clinching the continental tickets. It was a keen contest which made FC Ifeanyi Ubah better,” he said.

Ubah said with his team would now focus attention on the Federation cup, where it had already qualified for the final. “We all should now focus on Federation Cup finals, where we qualified against all odds,” he said.
