THE leadership of the APC in Edo State has intensified efforts to reconcile the Deputy Governor of the state, Dr. Pius Odubu with the party to having his support for the party’s candidate.

Supporters of Odubu argue that Oshiomhole has not shown genuine commitment in carrying his deputy along as the party prepares for the poll.

Though the APC governorship candidate, Godwin Obaseki has met with Odubu twice to seek for his support ahead of the election, Odubu’s supporters are not happy that the governor has not met with his deputy on the matter.

However, a member of the Reconciliation Committee told Vanguard thus: “We are meeting today (yesterday) with Odubu, and I can assure you that we are doing everything possible to reconcile our members who are aggrieved. Odubu is a strong leader of the APC, and you cannot take him for granted.
