The mother of Nigeria’s Vice President, Mrs Olubisi Osinbajo, has called on Nigerians to exhibit the virtue of patience.

She made the call in Lagos on Saturday at the midyear thanksgiving of the Cathedral Group of Churches hosted by Emmanuel Anglican Church..

“The point now is that Nigerians have to bring out their best. Patience is one virtue I have noticed in our women that enable them reap great reward as mothers.

“ I admire Nigerians because they are reasonable and have the attitude of engaging in thanksgiving to God.

“One should commend Nigerians for being a very reasonable race.

“ Many have said that they would not like to be in countries which through impatience have plunged their countries into destruction.

“We need to pray for Nigeria as men and women of virtue and enterprise,’’ she said.

Also speaking at the forum, the Vicar of Emmanuel Anglican Church , Ven. Okechukwu Ifionu, commended Osinbajo over her group’s presentation at the forum.

Ifionu said that the occasion was not only for thanksgiving but one to empower women.

He said that through gratitude to God, Nigeria would overcome its difficulties.
