The Ijaws of Niger Delta has described the Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson as a blessing to the Ijaw in particular and the Niger Delta in general. In a congratulatory message to mark the Governor’s 50th Birthday Anniversary, they saluted the visionary leadership of the Governor despite the economic hardship facing the nation as result of the embarrassing low oil prices in the international market and the hopeless declining value of the Naira.

“Our Governor truly epitomizes hard work, perseverance doggedness, diligence and patriotism. These are the virtues of the True Ijaw Man.”
