ABUJA-A lawmaker representing Afikpo South/North of Ebonyi state, Rep Igariwe Enwo has withdrawn the suit challenging  President Muhammadu Buhari for releasing funds to states and local governments without consulting the National Assembly.

Igariwe had filed the suit on July 15 at an Abuja accusing President Buhari for releasing such money without following due process.

Chatting with journalists today, Igariwe said”I had to discontinue the matter as the House has resumed and the Federal Government has said it was going to be a loan.

“I will submit a motion in regard to this development and make my submissions”.
