All is now set for a special exhibition by children and teens of St Andrews Anglican Church Ojota road Ogudu, Lagos. The exhibition which will feature about thirty colourful, inspired work created by children and teens is scheduled to open from 11th -12th July 2015, at the Church Gallery.
According to the organisers, the children art exhibition tagged “What Colour is God”, is put together as part of the church’s 2015 Harvest of Increase celebration and hosted by the Apostle of Peace (AOP) society.
“This exhibition align with our vision as a society and is an important opportunity to showcase who God is to the community, kindling the creativity of our children and to provide the flavor of what the church intend to achieved when the proposed children and teen church is completed,” said Eze Afieroho, Chair/Program Director of the Harvest 2015.
The programme encourages creativity, critical thinking and ongoing collaborative investigation with the main objective of bringing the society back to God. “The project beyond being a part of the church’s 2011 harvest program” according to the Vicar, Ven Kelvin Tope-Tapere (Ph.d) “will also teach our young people the power of creative thinking as a medium to reflect the quality God imputed in us. Every human mind is imputed with God’s kind of capacity for creativity; a blessing when used rightly and a curse when wrongly used.”
