Abuja – Worried by the lingering crisis in the Senate over the emergence of its leaders, the National Peace Committee has asked the Senators to take urgent steps to douse the tension generated over the matter in order to bring about the change that Nigerians are expecting from the new government.
The Chairman of the Committee and former head of state, Gen. Abdulsalam Abubakar and the Convener of the Peace Committee, Bishop Matthew Kukah, made the call in a statement made available to Vanguard in Abuja on Tuesday.
