Robotel SmartClass, a leader in class room management solutions provider has unveiled its 21st century digital classroom, an initiative to deliver tools for teachers to orchestrate live activities in the classroom and offer students a platform to engage in self study. Speaking during the official launch of the SmartClass+products, Robotel’s Country Manager, Nigeria and West Africa, Mr. Olu Babatunde, said the idea behind the new innovation was as a result of search for   new technology which can aid learning process.

“We have discovered that the performance of most of our students in Nigeria in the area of learning new language is not encouraging, this is not as a result of incompetence of their teachers or lack of commitment by students, but due to the time it requires to teach each student and the   unavailability of rehearsing tools on the part of students leads to little success.

“When you think about learning a new language, you need to realize that it is typically done firstly by acquisition of basic vocabulary, but as soon as you want to move into practice, it requires collective participation in which SmartClass+products is available to fill in the gap of aiding the learning process, hence making the work easier for the teachers and helping students to learn fast.” “SmartClass is designed in such a way that it can be use anytime, anyplace and with any devices such as ipads, androids, windows PCs, Macs, smart phone, BYOD.”

Babatunde noted that the project has been put to motion in some of the university in Nigeria while some are on queue role to benefit in this new innovation. “In last few months we have had language laboratory installation in three main universities in Nigeria, Adeleke University, Osun State, Babcock University and Redeemer’s University in Ogun State. At the moment we still have some other higher institution queuing up for installation.
