ABUJA—THE Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN, has advised the General Theophilus Danjuma Committee to work expeditiously to achieve result.
President Goodluck Jonathan had recently set up the committee to workout modalities on how to rescue and rehabilitate the Chibok girls and their families.
In a release on the state of the nation made available to Vanguard in Abuja yesterday, the Director of Communications and Strategy of TAN, Dr. Udenta Udenta, commended President Jonathan for setting up the committee and advised the committee not to disappoint Nigerians yearning for the release of the girls.
Dr. Udenta noted that the committee was saddled with the responsibility of mapping out strategies and drawing up programmes for the physical, mental, psychological, social and economic rehabilitation and empowerment of all those affected by the abduction of the Chibok schoolgirls by Boko Haram terrorist group.
He said: “The setting up of the Danjuma committee is yet another indication of President Jonathan’s deep commitment to the welfare and well-being of Nigerians and his concern over the fate of the abducted girls, their families and communities.”
